Public Space CCTV Camera Assessment – Guidance Notes

This guidance document supports CCTV providers in assessing the performance and value of individual public space cameras. Developed in collaboration with South Lanarkshire Council and the Scottish Community Safety Network, it outlines a structured methodology for scoring cameras across eleven criteria — helping practitioners identify underperforming assets and make informed decisions about their CCTV infrastructure.
