Our novel collaboration with Public Health Scotland (PHS) – developing a community safety version of the Place Standard Tool (PST) – made another exciting step forward today.
Scottish Community Safety Network and PHS hosted colleagues from 3 (of 4) new pilot sites for ‘Phase 2’ of this exciting joint project: Moray Council, Belfast Healthy Cities, and Longford County Council joined us for our second facilitation training day at SCSN HQ (Civic House, Agile City CIC) Glasgow. Undettered by dreich weather, the group were buzzing.
They’re all now flying (literally) and driving home with ideas and learning, off to run workshops of their own in their communities. We can’t wait to see what they come back with…
The Place Standard Tool for Community Safety – when it’s completed – will be a free resource, available to all citizens and communities. We hope to launch in 2026 so watch this space!…
