2023/24 was one of the most challenging periods in our 27-year history. Significant funding reductions meant difficult changes to our team and services. Despite these challenges, we continued to deliver for the community safety sector across Scotland.
Highlights included:
- Publishing joint research with Scottish Government on ‘A New Approach to Anti-Social Behaviour’
- Hosting our first hybrid conference with COSLA
- Launching a Community Safety Lens for the Place Standard Tool with Public Health Scotland
- Presenting at the EU Safety Conference in Reykjavik
- Delivering learning sessions on Firework Control Zones, Rail Safety, Glasgow’s Drug Consumption Room and more
- Co-sponsoring the Community-Based Youth Work Award at the National Youth Work Awards
